On the ground

On my way home today, I noticed that they tried to change a truck (or wheel sets) on a loaded GACX plastic pellet hopper car. It appears that the jacks collapsed (or fell over) while the truck was removed. The bay nearest the removed truck split open, spilling some of the load. There were no injuries.

ON THE GROUND is never a good thing for a loco or railroad car.

I been there once.[:I]

Is there any way to locate a few pictures?

How big a crane did then bring in to lift the hopper car? [:o)][:p][:)]

I did not get to see that. The car remained upright, so they may have just brought more jacks out.
