I am leaving on Saturday to travel to the NMRA National Convention. This year will be the first since Toronto, and will be a ‘low budget’ affair. The National Train Show has always ‘cost’ me dearly! At least my ‘purchase’ list is short, as I have kept current with the new releases. I have not signed up for any layout tours this year, and plan to do a full clinic schedule. I plan to operate on the Wabash layout - I saw it in Toronto, but the waiting line was too long by the time I made up my mind to try it. I was thinking about the all day ‘super tour’ of the Garden/G Scale layouts, but it is on Friday, and runs over into the National Train Show. I am always fascinated by the large scale stuff, just have no time to do multiple modeling things. For those who are staying home, I hope we have some digital camera folks who can put updates on the forum.
