Is $79.50 a good price for a dcc equiped railtruck from Bachman or is this the going rate?
You can search around and pay a lot more if you want.
Bachmann makes some very nice On30 products.
They apparently have the practice of making their stuff in huge quantities (more than the regular shops will take) and have an agreement to sell the excess through one particular on-line retailer, currently MicroMark http://www.micromark.com/ (a few years ago, it was Model Expo).
MicoMark is a good company to deal with, and they sell nice tools too.

Micro-Mark is selling it for $79.50 and claim that the list price is $150. On Bachmann’s web site they are asking $145 if you order direct from them, so the Micro-Mark price seems like a good deal. Trainworld’s price is $79.99, so it’s a matter of whose shipping charges are less.
