I was nearby in Haarlem when this happened. Now I’m rather glad I chose to rent an Audi for my week-long tour through Holland with my parents instead of relying on the railways like I did two years ago with my wife. Coincidentally, that trip to Holland was delayed because of a non-fatal accident on the Frankfurt-Köln high speed line.
