Onion Specific's SD40-2H "Fast Forties"

According to information in the Utah Rails website in 1980-81 Onion Specific renumbered these units back into their conventional SD40-2 numbering scheme. Were–and if so, when?–these units ever regeared to conventional 65 mph speed specifications?

yes, all the UP SD40-2’s have the 62:15 gears now
