Ontario CA question

I have a question for you southern Ontarion guys. My uncle was coming home back towards Niagra Falls and thought he spotted a sign for a RR museum near Ft. Erie? Anyone have some info on it?
With the price of gas I thought it would be a nice day trip, hit the museum and the Falls with my tribe.
Thanks!

There is one in St. Thomas, its a fair drive from the Falls.

I thought you meant Ontario CA as being Ontario, California not Canada. I read your question and saw Niagra Falls as was totally lost. I live near Ontario, California, and we do have a RR museum close by in a city called Perris, but that doesn’t help you now does it?

there is one in fort erie south of the CN track, not much there. Now if you want to see train go over the border, go there at about 6am to 8:30am or late night. There is also the old shop buildings at the fort erie yard, and you could show him the welland canal trough. And the tunnels at the welland canal. there is a hobby shop in st, catherine. the closest one from the falls is either Modellers Choice or Otter Valley Railroad. both about 1 to 2hr drive.

Hope I’m not too late.

It’s a small museum, with one big locomotive and some smaller stock.
There is also a small museum in Niagara Falls, but I don’t know what it’s like as it just opened. I don’t have hours for either museum.
About an hour and a half farther north is the Halton County Radial Railway, our streetcar museum. (See posts by Trolleyboy.) It’s really worth seeing.
Buy gas before you cross the border.

zgardner18, Theres a Paris in Ontario Canada as well.

Talk about some originality, I’m sure your towns are older than mine.
Here is the link to Perris, California’s train museum for anyone who might care:
