OOPS This is what happens...

…when your vent valve sticks[#oops]

there is a better pick that that on csx-sucks shows one that toatlly collasped makes for a interesting pic to see it.

Yep…that’s what happens, all right!

This has to be a fairly old picture, possibly older than that AGEX tank car shot that’s been floating around. Look to the left–I think this car is coupled to a caboose!

Sorry CShave, this picture was taken yesterday.

I agree with Car. Whatever that car is coupled to does have the apprearance of a caboose.

…Fasten an air hose to the tank and reinflate it…Or guess that is a no, no…

Yes it is a caboose. The crew uses it when they need to make extended shove moves.

I don’t think the air hose method will work. Now when I was a kid, we would crush a metal drink can, insert a firecracker in the hole and set it off. WAH-LA, the can was a can again. Of course with a few wrinkles. I don’t think this method would work either.
The last that I have heard is that the car would be cut up on site.

…Of course I was just kidding…The atmosphere has a force to be reckoned with.

that is the fifth tank car to do this this year utlx and acfx should plate instruction on the side of the cars

Would have to be a big, bad mother of an air compressor!

Or, better yet, put a politician on the other end of the air hose. Any candidate for statewide office should have both the pressure and the volume of hot air to pop the tank car back into shape quickly and easily. Would also keep him occupied for a few minutes, so he couldn’t screw up our lives during that period of time.

Donate the car to ‘Mythbusters’ on the Discovery Channel…I am certain they could devise some interesting ways to ‘re-inflate’ the car. Think Cement Truck[:D]

Now that is what I call…That sucks.
Allan.

Who ends up paying for something like this?

LMAO!! BOOM

that quarry were they blew up the cement truck still there. Can you imagine that tank car filled with high explosives were is the bunker to hide in. Ever seen the movie of the Arizona going up be about the same look. LOL

Evidently they steamed the car out really good and then put the caps back on while it was hot.

Then when it cooled, instant collapse.

This is not the first one that’s been around.

Old Timer

break out the cutting torch…becouse that BAD ORDER ISNT FIXABLE!!! lol
