For those of you who host open house dates to show your layout, which day of the week (Saturday or Sunday) provides the most draw? What times work best for you? Thanks.

Most of the serious modelrailroaders and the like tend to show up on Saturday. Sundays tend to be more for the families. It’s hard to tell exactly what day is best. Many times the weather plays a major role regarding attendance. We always hope for the late March dismal day- but not heavy rains. This weather seems to be best for attendance. We always have our annual show and open house the 3rd week in March, a fall open house runs Sat and Sun in the 3rd week of Oct.
