Open house, This Saturday( Done Deal, went great))

Having an open house this saturaday for MNRA members if they desire to tour my layout here in Oroville Ca. after the Chico/Paridise meet from 12 to 6PM. Ran trains for four hours with very few problems (Yeah I know, the grims are chuckling on what they are going to do LOL ). You guys and gals are invited too, havent met anyone here I would not invite into my home. The layout is a mountain type two level around the room with about 40 percent sceniced, and few buildings. …John

Best of Luck to you John

Hope all goes well

You’ll have to share some photos with us !

Have fun, John. If I still lived northern California, I’d be visiting but it’s kind of a drive from Alabama. [:)] If you ran the trains for four hours with no problems, that should keep the gremlins at bay for a while. Let us know how it works out and, yes, we want pictures!

Thanks …yeah Im looking forward to it and Alabama isnt that far down the road, LOL so if ya ever get out here swing by, coffees on…John

Not as bad as mine![8D]

What a good idea! I can’t make it from central Tennessee, but maybe some more mrr people would host an open house from time to time. It would give us a chance to meet one another.

Note to Loathar: We aren’t that far from each other. It would be good to meet.

Hello John… I bet those who can get to the open house will enjoy a great layout and a great host. Next time you’re in western KY, give a shout. Others, too.

Ran thains Sat morning and everything went nutzz, a car that never derails just tips over, a turnout that never gives problems, derails trains, a spot of dirty track. So I pulled the problem cars, spiked a few swiches cleaned track again and when they arrived things went rather well, Had Tim run my trains and was a good three hours before the conversations came to a close, got a few better ideas for my gravel plant as to bring the track in at a different angle to layer it to add depth. So a Big Thank You for your hints to help me successfully pull this off, with your help it was a great.

John

Glad it went well for you !

Please don’t tell me you forgot to take pictures !!!
