Opening a Bachmann GS4 Tender for DCC install

Hello,

I have a Bachmann GS4 Daylight 4-8-4 with DCC. I’m trying to install an upgraded Soundtraxx decoder w/sound and am wonderng what’s the best way to open the tender without breaking it. Any help please?

The best way is to unscrew the screw at the front of each truck. Or look at the exploded view diagram that shows how the tender and the locomotive are put together.
