The 3652-1 is a black AT&SF Post War barrel car, made in 1954 only.
The 6-26852 is a re-issue of the 3562-25 grey AT&SF Post War car, called Post War Celebration series.
There may have been some revisions to the operating mechanism in the re-issue. Size should be the same.

Yes, the molded bodies to the cars are the same. And the coil mechanism is pretty much the same. Of course, modern paint techniques are far superior to the postwar heat or rubber stamping.
Now here I’m not sure, but not all of the recent postwar celebration cars have the staple-side postwar style trucks. Some of them have come with modern sprung die-cast trucks with fast angle wheels. Seems to me I have read the newer PWC cars are coming with the old postwar style trucks.
I have the 9225 Conrail one from 1984-85 and a postwar Santa Fe one that I have stripped and repainted into Norfolk Southern. Honestly I have to say the Norfolk Souterhn one with the postwar mechanism works better, despite adjustments to the Conrail one. It’s just smoother and uses less current to operate. If I ever get another one, I’ll look for a postwar one in less than pristine paint to strip and re-do.
All Modern Era Barrel Cars are built like the Post War ones with the exception of “fast angle” wheels. They all have Post War staple-end trucks and original style mechanisms.
