On the Youtube sidebar, there is also a Lego Shay, A Big Boy.etc.
For all the rivet counters, it sure is easy to count the rivets on that engine.

New From Erector.-Meccano Line.makes five different engines. Not exactly a Hudson…but cool
WOW, the Erector-Meccano is one cool but weird steamer
Looks like something out of a “Mad Max” movie !
I was just thinking it’s a rivet counters nightmare!
I have one of those, built it a couple of years ago when it was first released. On newer Meccano Erector sets a lot of the pieces are plastic, as you may be able to tell from the photo above. The box said “Runs on G-Scale track” but in fact the main drivers are not flanged. So it can only “wobble” on straight track until it derails. But it’s still a really cool toy! I have seen some very large LEGO layouts at train shows with numerous LEGO trains running. The thing that really stands out are the skyscapers made out of LEGO’s that are 3 or 4 feet tall. Many bunches of LEGO’s needed to build those guys.
By way of the video it looks the builder substituted other Lego parts from another kit to give his model flanged wheels.
