How exactly does the car scale work? Is it specially programmed for HO scale in some way?
I am really happy I subscribed to Model Railroader Magazine when I did. The benefits of online preview videos and articles about the hobby is just what I was looking for. What a Christmas present!
It would be nice if the Mine Block & Mine Order & switchlist forms made it possible to enter your own railroad’s name. Good examples anyway. Thanks
Ahh technology…ya gotta love it. I was still “out on the mainline” when these pics were taken, I didn’t arrive until July 1955.
Coincedince! I’m modelling the VGN in HO scale in 1955! I did use the Micro-Mark system of cards, but I think the Mine order cars work the best. And I don’t even have to buy them, I can just print them off of my computer!
I really liked the simple and effective switch list, I plan to make mine from Micro-soft word/excel. Also going to make the “Mine order” but will title it “Elevator order” for my grain elevators.
David,
Since I am new to operations, can you make an actual operation available for us newbies to help us get started? Having, or better yet perhaps a video describing each train, PU, drop off, etc…
Having us being able to print an operations schedule would help greatly.
I like the paperwork samples. I may be able to adapt them to what I am working on. Thanks!
I like the paperwork might use them.
