You must have updated that since I visited on Saturday…I remember just seeing the link with the tape on it.
Is there a reason why one staple leg is longer than the other?

I will guess that the legs are unequal lengths to make it easier to insert, you can put the long leg in one the drawhead of one car and then put the short leg in the other car. If they were equal length you would have to thread the holes in both cars at the same time.
