In the past there have been some websites that provided free downloads for blank card order systems. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks.
I downloaded mine off sites too, here’s some places to try. I forget where exactly I got mine.

Good luck!
Thanks Trainman, it’s a great start. I have been using a “home grown” checklist type system described by Bruce Chubb years ago, but it is not easily flexible if you make changes on the layout, hence I want to try the card order system now.
I downloaded a free program from this yahoo group. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CarCards/?yguid=448932 It is a bit intimidating at first, but if you dig into the instructions and read some posts on the forum it becomes a bit clearer. If anything, it is a good inventory database. It does require Microsoft Access as it is a database based program. The carcard printout is pretty nice. If you are experienced with working in Access you can change things to suit your tastes also.

The CarCards Yahoo Group files section has a variety of car card and waybill schemes in Word, Excel and Access.
Some generate blank cards you handwrite the data on, others have databases/spreadsheets that let you print the car cards and waybills.
There are also Access databases that produce reports and can inventory your equipment as well as the car card stuff.

I use this system too.
The waybills are 4-position-waybills. Sometimes I add a second waybill card with a fifth position to get more flexibility. Or to adjust something.

Thanks all for your examples, They are great! Wolfgangs system is proof that even a simple loop can be designed and operated in a very realistic manner.
This is a free online car card generator:

You can download waybills there as well.
I second that. I found a lot of excellent resources and help there.
