I am interested in getting software to manage my railroad for my new layout. What do you guys reccomend? I’ve checked out RailOp, is that any good?
I have a medium sized layout at home, no big club layouts or anything like that.
Looking to spend $100 or less.
You will probably get better feed back on the OpSig Yahoo group (Ry-ops-industrial) than on this or any other non-ops oriented forum. I would also suggest subscribing to and reading the posts on the various model railroad software brand forums, they all have their own on Yahoo groups. That way you can read what problems the owners have, get a feel for what the level of support is and how the program may fit with your operating preferences.
