I notice that the time of day listed as we post has gone from Central Standard Time (USA) to about 7 hours ahead of CST. Has the website maintenance been outsourced to an Asian or European country?

You probably need to update your profile and indicate your time zone as something other than 0 hours GMT. That should fix the time difference.
