[V] May they all rest in peace with our sincere thanks for all their wonderful service and for making the supreme sacrifice while protecting the rest of us.

Yeah I heard about that this morning. It is a turly sad day in the world of firefighting. I’m even sure our local fire fighters are feeling the sadness caused by this tragdey in Charleston S.C today.

Jim, Exactly.

I understand they made several rescues before this happened.

My condolences to their families and brother firefighters.

…My, that’s a terrible loss…! I haven’t seen any details on TV of that incident yet. Terrible. 9 fireman…That many, one almost never hears of such a loss.

In the word (it only takes one) of firefighterclosecalls.com - Numb. That’s how this makes you feel. I can’t begin to imagine how the folks on the scene felt when they realized what happened, and I hope I’m never faced with it.
