Sorry guys, I’ve posted this in the trains.com forum but received no help there. By now you’ve noticed the train down below in my signature. How can I get it to scroll? I’ve tried the command, but it doesn’t work.
I’ve noticed that others in our group have this in their sigs and it has inspired me to follow suit. Can someone please help me?

I’m not into this stuff , but my Paintshop Pro produces automated gif’s. But shouldn’t you have used brackets instead of < > bullets ?
You might want to avoid that. On many forums I’ve seen these are outlawed since they tend to be annoying.
I don’t think the will work in the signature section. Try [marquee] since this site uses BB Code. But this also might not work as I couldn’t get it to work in this post…so it might have been disabled.
But take a look at this animated signature I made…pretty annoying after a while right?
You can avoid those annoying animations by clicking the red X in your top tool bar … stops 'em dead in their tracks !!!
As for scrolling train signatures, have you seen any on THIS forum ??? I don’t think it’s allowable here (?) Even though HTML editing is allowed, the marquee ability doesn’t function.

There’s a distinct difference between something that changes and flashes, versus a slow moving small image…
I’m working on it for you. If I can’t get the code to work, I can always animate it frame by frame…
EDIT: And yes there are scrolling train signatures here…
Just as I suspected, disabled by the mods. I have seen these in others’ sigs, but now that you’ve mentioned it, I can no longer find any examples. They must’ve been disabled recently.
As far as them being annoying, wouldn’t that be ironic that train lovers would get annoyed by trains? There must be another reason. If I were to find one annoying I would simply scroll up or down or turn the page to another post and whala…it’s gone.

Ted - Don’t worry, I’ll make it happen for you. I’ll just have to animate it myself probably.
Go look at this Loathar, Pathfinder, and Driline all have animated signatures still. 
All three of those are animated GIFs - even the “scrolling” train. Driline’s animated train was created as a scrolling GIF offline and then inserted as such - the source right from his PB account shows it moving, it’s not an animated still through this server.
