OT: REMINDER FOR EVERYONE!!

Just a reminder to all so you don’t forget to set your clocks back
ONEhour tomorrow night (Sat., Oct. 29, 2005), or before 2
a.m. Sunday morning!! Wouldn’t want anyone to be late getting
somewhere they have to be.

Heh heh, not us here in Indiana…we haven’t gone in for that foolishness in quite some time.

Unfortunately, we are being stupid starting next year, jumping on the “everybody else is doing it” bandwagon. [V]

OH my YES it’s that time of year when I gain an hour over here in PA!! YES, I forgot all about daylight savings time. Thank you very much CW! I’lll be sure to turn the clock back, trust me.

I live in Saskatchewan where we don’t observe daylight savings time. Unfortunately, that means that all the out-of-province TV stations move their schedules back.

Hey thanks for the reminder for that one that’s a real important thing for the job that I have got we always have to be on time or we anit gonna have a job [:D][:D]

Does anyone REALLY know what time it is?
25 or 6 to 4 [:D]

Time for large, flightless bird to fall off ladder whilst changing batteries in smoke alarms[:D]

Here in Chicago, I wish we could stay on DST all year. Even though this is the town in which the RR’s “invented” standard time in the 19th Century, it is so depressing going to work in the dark and going home from work in the dark. Staying on DST won’t increase the amount of daylight, of course, but it would shift it to the evening rush hours.

When I was in my first year at college, it was the year the whole country stayed on DST. Made those eight o’clock classes pretty daunting but boy, the afternoons were great!

Is it true that overnight Amtrak trains, assuming they’re on time, just stop dead for the “repeat” hour between 2:00 and 3:00 a.m.?
