out of the loop

So I havent been chasing trains much lately but I saw a photo with some guy named Ed Dickens and it named him Steam manager for UP. Has Lee retired? Who else has finally retired? Who is the current crew?

Thanks

S

I believe Steve Lee is probably Ed Dickens’ boss. Steve’s title is listed as "Superintendent, Heritage Operations. Ed Dickens is “Manager, Heritage Equipment and Facilities”.

Following is a link to the roster of all personnel on the current excursion:

Steve Lee has retired, effective now.

Not quite true. Steve is retiring effective the end of the year. See the following Newswire article:

In a 2008 interview with TRAINS columnist Peter A. Hansen, Lee contemplated his retirement. “Everybody thinks the world’s going to end when I retire, and it’s not,” he said. “I’m going to leave this thing in good shape, I’ll leave it with momentum. Whoev
