Out of this world!

Good morning!

While looking over the news on another website this morning, I came across an article about a study of commuter rail expansion in Florida. One paragraph/sentence stood out:

"Tri-Rail is looking into future plans to extend service to Jupiter. "

We in Chicago have long had commuter service to Mars and beyond (check out Metra’s Milwaukee West line if you don’t believe me!), but it looks like they’ll be asking Mudchicken to give some advice on stabilizing the roadbed through the asteroid belt before long.

OK, now back to work.

Watch out, if they say they’re headed for Uranus.

They’ve been headed there since I hired out!

Interesting. Will they use particle relocation drives or gravity magnifier drive?[:D]

Will they offer connecting service to Juropa, Ione, Ganemeede and Calypto?

I was going to comment on this, but I can see BC smiling clear over here!

I suppose Pluto has been removed from their “long-range” plans?

They will be using steam! Duh![D)] Everybody knows that coal has better thermal numbers than PR drives or GM drives! Where have you been? The prrof is readily available on many message boards![:-,][:o)][(-D]

I hope they don’t stick it to the wheat farmers.[;)] It might ruin the whole economy of Jupiter.[:D]

All things considered, it’s probably better that they stick it to the wheat farmers of Jupiter, than Uranus.

I got a smilee for that, but I’m sure if I posted it I would be hearing from Bergie directly.[:D]

This is no different than when I told my wife that I once took the train to Jamaica.

If there is intelligent life anywhere else in the Universe, I wonder if they ever had trains. And I wonder what they might have looked like…
