over done

ok guys…trying this weathering stuff again and man I just cant get it right. The general opinion is too much…too heavy…like s knocked out tank. Now I want to remove what Ive done and I dont know how. What I have done to the car was a wash of india ink and a few (what i thought ) rust spots using testors paints. What can I do to reemove this?is there a way to get the car back to being clean? any help is needed…

thanks for the help

I’ve found the best way to weather cars is to use an air brush and water based paints. I use rust, dark gray or black. If you’ve not sprayed dull coat or gloss coat on the car, fill your air brush tank with plain rubbing alcohol, and just a few drops of your color. Lightly spray many times allowing drying between coats. This will produce great results with practice. Remember light coats several times, not real heavy. As far as the ones that are over done, little can be done without damaging factory paint. This would be a good time to try your hand at lettering your own cars.

I dont think theres much you can do there. Feel like trying some custom painting?[;)]
