I just opend my 1st brass diesel model,it’s a overland FL9 and i couldn’t be happier.My layout is mostly steam but i just had to get this model.I commuted into NYC behind FL’s for years so this model is dear to my heart.It’s a work of art! I’m still going to buy brass steam (only NYC prototype when some are available for under$500.00) but i think that I’m going to also selectively pick up a few brass NYC diesels.I have just been admireing this one,I’m almost afraid to run it.
I was impressed at the Springfield train show when OVerland was there… they had on display a Metro North F unit… I wanted it right then!!!
