Oversize threads

[banghead]

How come some of my threads are oversize for my screen (LED help) for instance? When I pull it up the text runs off the side of the screen I have to shift back and forth to read a sentence.

If it makes you feel any better, you’re not alone. A lot of us are having the same problem. Sometimes when you come back later the sizes change, too. The new forum software still has some bugs to be worked out, I guess.

I seem to be enjoying that very same feature you speak of. More of it today than yesterday.[sigh]

I notice it when someone posts a long url link. The forum software stretches out all the reply boxes to accomodate it.

Enjoy

It happens to me after I’ve posted a reply.

Sorry…Had to do this:Maybe it’s a matter of silk and a carpet thread…There is a big difference here!

Or…May it’s the type selected when posting a message…But I’m leaning toward the “thread size” myself. Carpet thread IS much stronger, BTW!

I believe it is a function of the internet gods. Sometimes after posting a reply everything will spread out, but then if I leave that particular thread and go to another one everything is normal. When I go back to the thread I posted on it is back to normal also.

Let’s see what happens after I post this.

Nope not on my end.[:(]

I don’t remember ever seeing that problem. Could it have something to do with the ads on the right side?

I’m thinking the problem might have something to do with pictures, but I sure wish someone would do something about it.

The way I understand it is that anything posted over 500 pixels causes the stretch. My signature line was over 700 pixels because of an image and it was causing stretch to the other posts in the thread. I resized my signature line to under 500 pixels and no more stretch because of me. This is something that likely will be addressed by Kalmbach as it was with me.
