I’m going to check my “data” 'bout extending the 3rd rail to Oyster Bay.
Unless those estates were broken up and “developed” ‘tween Oyster Bay and…where?..a bit north of the Turnpike, there’s likely not to be enough traffic source/demand.
I am out-dated…I don’t keep current…about Nassau County. I lived there from birth to 18 yrs.
Then there is bordering on the east, Suffolk county
And in Virginia,
Norfolk, a wonderful place, but its name also permits pronouncing syllabic “folk”, as does Suffolk, completely identically to the "go F__K yourself.’
Ironic, cynical, abusive, sarcastic, realistic?
For you? Realistic?
I’d rather see the money go to electrifying the line from Mineola/ East Williston to Oyster Bay, if that hasn’t been done already. My data is outdated, perhaps.
