I’m trying to remember here, but I think I’ve seen 2 versions from P2K.
I’m almost certain I’ve seen P2K’s in the common platinum mist and bloody nose scheme. But something in the back of my mind says P2K also released some in the early experimental scheme of mostly black with a pointless arrow that connected with blue and white safety stripes on the nose.

I’ve had a CNW E8A and UP E6A/B pair for some time but this E8A/B has changed the way I look at the big E’s.
The different livery makes it look a brute. I’m amazed.
It’s a bit “old” for my regular era but it’s just going to have to have survived.
Then again… might just make up a kaleidescope train for it… now what cars would have gone into that…? [%-)][:-,]

Amtrak had cars from just about everybody. I’ve seen photos of trains with battered PC E units, cars from NP, BN, ATSF, and even IC from time to time as equipment was shifted around. Eventually most of it got repainted into matching colors.
