PA branch lines

As a young railfan (22yrs old) growing up in PA, I can’t help but notice everytime I drive thru the state all the branch lines spurring here and there. I would like to find out more about them. One I pass about every week is used by NS for coal transport. I have no idea where the train is coming from or where it is headed. There are always 4 SD80MACs, 2 in front and 2 in back, as the primary motive power. The 5 miles or so that I often spot the train is along route 119, near chambersville and marion center, in between them. The stretch of 119 traveled is on my way to school. I come home on the weekends, and either on my way home or on my way back up I always see the SD80MACs with their coal train waiting between grade crossing at the same place, in between the respective towns listed above. I travel on 119 from indiana to punxatawney. If you have any info for me I would be much oblidged. Thanks for your time.

Keep an eye out silvio, NS is about to fini***he paperwork and construction on a coal branch near you to move coal more efficiently near Indiana.

Could you be a bit more specific mudchicken ? ? ?

I am aware there are many spur lines in the vicinity where I am seeing these coal trains, and am sure this one is coming/going from a mine/to a plant. I see NS trucks and work crews maintaining the line, nothing class 1 grade but branch grade. let me know more.

Saltzburg to Clarksburg / Keystone Project (6 miles of new railroad and rebuild 17 (?) more of two connecting branchlines over a large hill/ small mountain…

STB: FD 33928 0

If anyone else has any info at all on PA branch lines, give a shout !

Thanks alot.
