I am looking at getting either the IHC/Mehano or the AHM/RIVAROSSI Pacific for the base of a locomotive project. Does anybody know the diameter of the drivers on the locomotive, not including the flange? I am looking for 69" drivers, which translate to 51/64", or about 20mm. If these locomotives won’t work, does anybody know of a different one with the right wheel diameter?
You’ll have to do a bit of reading and know who the mfg’er was and yr. You should be able to get a pretty good idea from this site:

I’m assuming Pacifics from the US. The Model makers, I can’t help You with.
Good Luck! [:D]

I have an HO IHC Mehano M9411 (beige/tan box) on the bench. I measure 0.814" within 0.001" for the rims (not the flanges) which would be 70.8" drivers. No idea how correct that would be for any Pacific.
The N&W had 4-6-2s with both 68" and 70" drivers.
Model steam locomotive drivers are often undersized to accommodate the larger-than-scale flanges - even of RP25 wheels. The other alternative would be to extend the drivers’ wheelbase, which may be more noticeable than slightly undersized wheels.
