Tried doing another pacing video with my Sony HDR-AS20 video camera on the flat car. This time, rather than have the camera pacing on a parallel track, I put together a very long train having the camera car being pulled or pushed around the layout to follow both the locomotives and the caboose. This was only the second time I’ve had a train this long on the layout, and it truly is a test of both the track and the rolling stock.
I removed the audio for content and copyright reasons because I was watching The Exorcist while recording this. It was replaced with a song I found in one of the free music libraries, which I think fits right in with the trains.
So, if I understand correctly, you were running one long single train that reached almost the whole way around the layout with the camera car at the end. Is that correct?
If so, it proves again that your track laying skills are excellent!
