Hey guys,

Check out page 56 of the March issue of Trains…if #346, a 2-8-0 Rio Grande locomotive looks familiar, it should…that’s Chris Mays avatar, and that’s his photo/work too boot.

Darn, Ed, you caught me napping here. I’ve known about this for a day now thanks to fuzzybroken’s forum, and it didn’t occur to me to start a thread about it here.[banghead]

Saw it last night…was going to post it then, got sidetracked:)

Got a email from a friend about it this morning, checked, didn’t see anything on the forum yet, so decided to give it a whirl…

About time some of Chris’s work gets published, he has a real talent, just needs the right outlet and a little encouragement.

I wonder, do they still publish the Photographers Bible?

Just showed up in San Diego today. That was about the fourth page I looked at and wow, deja vu all over again.

Glad that more folks than just the forums could share that image.

Congratulations, Chris and more so to Trains for picking up on the Colorado talent.

My magazine finally arrived yesterday, and I went straight to page 56. Familiar-looking freight cars! Great shot, Chris–excellent work! Oh, and nice-looking locomotive in the foreground.
