Paging Jacon12: More Qs on your backdrop

Sir,

Thanks for reading this message. I was VERY impressed (and don’t do that often) by not only your backdrop, but detailed description of your work found here: http://cs.trains.com/forums/1252782/ShowPost.aspx. However, I have a few questions:

  1. How many bottles and colors of craft paint to get for my 21ft around-the-room backdrop? It is 2ft high masonite on the straight sections and styrene on the curved parts. I thought to have it slightly resemble yours in terms of colors.

  2. Did you paint the entire backdrop w/ the acrylics?

  3. In the post describing your techniques, you mentioned “tree shapes.” How to do that?
