Paint booth& stripping

Anyone have a sourse for a small blower to use on a hobby paint booth/ Also some time ago some one used colored thread for stipping .What kind of glue was used

If you do a search, I believe there was a spraybooth thread going awhile back. The suggestion that I saw that sounded like the best idea to me was to buy a range hood with the fan and build your booth using the hood as the top. You need a fan that is brushless and isn’t going to pose a risk of catching fire if you are using solvent based paints.

Hmm… Aren’t AC motors brushless? If that’s the case I think pretty much any AC fan (like the 120mm 115VAC fans sold at Radio Shack) should be able to handle the job.

Yup all AC motors are brushless.

I’ve used a bathroom fan in my booth for years, vent the fumes outside using flexible plastic ductwork.

Sounds similar to mine, Bob, but I got the fan with the light. You never have enough light when painting.

T. GUESS i.LL TRY RADIO SHACK. bOOTH IS SMALLER THAN NORMAL DUE TO SPACEHANKS. i WAS TEMPTED TO USE A KITCHEN HOOD BUT TO STONG AND LOTS OF NOISE

I would say get a squirrel cage fan from ebay or somewhere…

I know in one of my Back issues of MMR it said to use a squirrel cage fan with a furnace filter in front of it.
