Is VIA “teal blue” (the blue/green currently used on their F40 rebuilds and other locomotives etc.) available?
If so, who is the manufacturer and the number.
If not, does anyone have a formula to make the color.
Thanks for any help.

You might put this post in the prototype section?
Try Tru-Color paints http://www.trucolorpaint.com/index.php?p=1_2_Paint-Products (about 3/4 down page)

Testors has the perfect match in their model car line of paints under the Colors by Boyd section - it’s called “Chezoom Teal” … really !
The real engines are painted using Dupont metallic teal (which is the reason there appears to be such a wide swing in colors shown in pictures) and this paint has the same extremely fine metallic to it.
Check out the VIA P42 on my home page.
Mark.
I have emailed Tru - Color as to which VIA Blue they have. Thanks for the heads up.
Thank you. As I suspected, there are underlays involved. Thanks for the pointer and I’ll check out your page.
