Do anyone have a good match for the old Floquil Mineral Red? I checked the charts that I have and that is not a color that is listed on the charts. (I find Santa Fe MIneral Brown but that is not what I want.) If I have to mix it, I am perfectly willing to do that. (I have a BN Green that I mixed.) As usual any suggestions that anyone has would be most welcomed.
I’m pretty sure Mineral Red was a Polly Scale color. MM Acrylic Rust is close. You could always contact Tru-Color paints and ask them to mix some for You. Pactra acrylic enamel paints also had a close color. Tamiya acrylic Hull Red can also be doctered. How close depends on Your eye…

Frank
Frank is correct. Mineral Red is part of the water based Polly Scale line.
It is an unusual color in that it has a brownish red appearance in the bottle, but takes on a livelier version of Boxcar Red on plastic. I used Mineral Red to paint my large downtown passenger station.
There are two sellers on eBay right now, and three 1 ounce bottles are available.

I searched Walthers for Mineral Red and found TruColor makes a GN Mineral Red.
It might be worth a try
I went ahead with that route and purchased a bottle. Given that it has been many years since the PS line disappeared, I didn’t think to check eBay.
THank you all for the assistance.
LION can’t figgr why you need such a purrfeckt match.
Paint fades right away, Locomotives , box cars, grandma’s house, they all fade and ergo do not match anything.
Any cheep color that the LION buys at Walmart or Hobby Lobby will do just fine.
