I bought a state of maine 6464275 box car for only $8… one problem, someone repainted the roof a gray color. is it possable to remove this paint?

Don’t use Castrol; it will strip all the paint including the original! I assume you only want to take off the gray and leave the original? Not very likely, I’m afraid. If you decide to repaint the whole thing, then by all means use the castrol and strip away-- otherwise how about just doing the roof?
