paint removal?

I use a paint thinner called mineral spirits and sometimes rubbing alcohol, what about you?

I’m experimenting with 91% rubbing alcohol at the moment. But maybe I’ll graduate to Mineral Spirits or PinSol after this.[;)]

im about to get brakefluid for some of my warhammer models, but not shure if it will work on train stuff

I blend my own. 100% effective on Brass, 95% on wood and SO FAR 95% on plastic.
The porblem is that one of the compnents is not available to the general public in a small quantity. The smallest that you can get is a 55 Gallon drum. The other parts are easy to get the problem is blending it. To much of the hot stuff and melted plastic is the result.
The safe bet is IPA
DO NOT TRY Carbyrator Cleaner on ANYTHING but metal it will melt it.

oven cleaner

i seen a thred on here not long ago on pine sol

That depends. Some of the older Athearn models I stripped easily with 91% alcohol. Newer ones I find need Scalecoat Paint Remover. The SC stuff is much more powerful than any alcohol I’ve encountered.
