Hello;
I am looking for any tips to painting Atlas Tru Track. I am thinking that if I paint the individual track pieces there could electrcal problems if I dont get all the paint off wear the rail joiners go. Also what about painting the turnouts?

I use a wire wheel mounted in a Dremel to clean the ends of track sections to ensure a good solder connection. When painting turnouts, I put a drop of Labelle oil on the pivot points. This will keep paint from penetrating and causing binding of the switch points.
