Painting Bachmann Spectrum NJT F40PH

I noticed that the grab irons are not painted orange like the prototype. I will paint them orange and the steps yellow. The Bachmann F40PH will look allot better with painted grab irons. Is there a recommended paint for painting grab irons?

I would recommend ,Pactra,Racing Finish, Acryl, does not chip,and is water based. Most R/C SHOPS SHOULD have it…

Others may have another paint, but I prefer, Pactra…

If the grabs are wire not engineering plastic, you don’t need the flexable/ rubbery RC paint. Any matching RR paint will work fine.
