Painting Backdrops for Your Model Railroad
I enjoyed this publication, but I feel it has some shortcomings. I am modeling a small town with a large hill behind it, and existing backdrops of urban areas just don’t fit my needs. I would have liked to see a lot more on painting buildings, such as small stores, warehouses, factories, houses etc. I would also have liked to see more on painting rivers and streams. The river on my layout leads back into the backdrop and can’t be effectively screened by bushes and trees. I would also have liked to see more on painting clouds than was touched on in the book.
