It often comes up…this may help some of us… www.davidadamsonline.com
Thanks for that link, I’m checking it out. [:D][tup]
Model railroader magazine has a downloadable article on paiting backdrops including painting clouds. May want to check it out. I will be attempting their suggestions this weekend.
From someone who has applied so many coats of paint to masonite it warped right off the wall…the best way I have found for my level of expectations…I could not go wrong with using the stencils made by New London Industries…it’s a foolproof method that gives the best results…I have tried every way possible…as I’m not the artist…but these stencils make it look like I am…Tim
I just bought some off walthers. I haven’t used them yet but hope to soon. So how easy was it? Did you use both white and gray to give the clouds some depth?
Cheap $1/can flat spray paint. Grey and white. I sprayed a bit of grey on the bottom first and then white on the top. I made my own stencils by printing out pictures of clouds from the internet.
