Amtrak’s Vermonter no longer runs through Palmer on CSX and NECR. It now runs directly north/south over the rehabilitated Pan Am Southern line between Springfield and Brattleboro, VT
This needs to be updated. Lots have changed since 2006. Like John Wallace said, the Vermonter doesn’t turn in Palmer anymore. The station isn’t an antique shop anymore, it is a restaurant. Mass Central has some new power, so does CSX. This also mentions Conrail and Guilford, which sadly, are gone too. http://steamingtender.com/
