This garage is within stone’s throw of the sawmill. Undoubtedly, service vehicles in the mid-twentieth century were necessary. This is another potential, straightforward, scratch-building project. Please build with individual boards you’ve already suitably stained.

Here’s what happens if you don’t park in a covered garage.

Had a shed very similar to that on the farm I used to work on and just a three bay one when I bought this one. Have also seen pole sheds with just posts and a roof, making drive through bays for loads of hay. Plan one, possibly a combination of the two types, for one of my first scratch building projects. In real life these buildings get bumped and knocked around, so perfection not terribly important. Simple shed like that good for most any era.
Have fun,
I’d bet you dollars to donuts that the two higher stalls were for the company’s Hayes 1940s-era log trucks. The higher roof clearance would be because of stacking the trailer on the truck.

As I recall, these trucks “growled” when moving.
