I have a Walther’s Gas Electric doodlebug which has 4 cracked axle gears. I don’t have the parts list. Could someone please check their parts list sheet and let me know the part # for these axle gears?

I think if I were you I would be checking for a substitute because Walthers will probably not be much help. Once they discontinue something it’s forgotten. Shoot, when it’s not diccontinued they forget about it!!
You’d think that with all of the “parts” they advertise in their catalog they would be very agressive about their own parts, you would think so anyhow…
Check Athearn, Intermountain, or Bowser…

I would give Walthers a call, you don’t need the parts numbers, just describe to them what you need, they can look up the part number. Are you sure the gears are cracked? While they did have cracked gear issues with their earlier locos, I’m not aware of the same issue with the doodle bugs, but I could be wrong.
