part help, LED for fast track remote switch's, how to replace?

the led’s burned out in the switch target. anybody know if it is a standard LED, I dont see a dropping resistor in the circuit. thank you,

From page 11 of the owner’s manual for FastTrack Switches

OK, I will drop by tonys and see if he has the LED, The lED’s came on then went out, That is why I was wondering if there is a dropping/limiting resistor missing in the circuit. LED’s need a resistor in 99% of applications. I have the same LED problem with my 6-24101 signal. the red & green leds dont work, yellow ok but not r&g, could be a wiring problem their also.

thank you,

Note, it says EXPECTED, kinda like “your mileage will vary”,

Just unsolder the old one and install a new one, when its out ckeck the voltage should be about 1.7 -2.2 volts.

Here’s a link on led’s check it out.

The only way to be sure is to draw the circuit out. The LED is directional so don’t solder it in backwards. The Kelly school is a fine site. I have used it too!
