part numbers for the pilot truck and the end truck of a 2332-GG1

Hello folks…

I need a little clarification on the part numbers for the pilot truck and end truck for a 2332-GG1 im restoring. I have greenburgs repair manual but the pictures have me confused. From what I can figure out I think the pilot truck complete part number is 2330-55 and the end truck is numer 2332-75. If any parts experts can confirm this I would really appreciate it.

I believe the 2332 uses paired 2332-75 trucks. “End” as in “at either end” of the locomotive as opposed to front/back.

You can find those part numbers on ‘Olsens’ web site (I may have the spelling wrong). They are a good parts source for Lionel and others.

It looks to me like you need the 2332-75 end truck and 2332-76 pilot. You probably need a coupler as well?

I agree with Chuck.

The end truck (complete) is 2332-75. This should include the pilot, coil coupler, and pick-up shoe assembly. This number is good for either end of the GG-1.

The 2330-55 is the end truck for the 2360 GG-1.

Will do…Im just waiting for the trucks to come in which i paid a kings ransom for.!!! Im gonna start it next week .
