I’m wondering if anyone has the parts sheet for the athearn RTR GP35. I can’t find the part number for the dynamic brake fan. I have one that I got used, but it didn’t have a DB fan.
Also if anyone has one that they added lift rings and MU hoses to, could you post where you put the lift rings and how you added the MU hoses and what brand of lift rings and MU hoses you used?

Detail Associates makes the lift rings. Get the metal ones, not plastic. They come in two lengths. The short ones are what you need.
For your part location question, see if you can get hold of some old Railmodel Journal magazines. They generally have an article in each issue showing detail parts for different locomotives. If you do a search through the magazine index offered by Kalmbach, you can put in GP35 for the search term and specify the search in Railmodel Journal. You might come up with several different railroads that had GP35s.

According to the parts sheet that came with my RTR GP 35 the dynamic brake fan is listed as Fan Blade 48" #91785. Sorry I can’t be of any help on the lift rings and mu hoses.

I know my BB GP 40 has little dimples on the top where you should drill for the lift rings and grabs. Don’t know if the RTR’s have them.
Trick question-really.
The early RTR GP40-2s just had the scale handrails and new hex drive line with the dimples…Later runs will have metal grabs and dimples for the lift rings.
