When the 1218 used to come through Ohio, it always had a mix of roadnames for the coaches, baggage cars, etc. since it was before NS refurbished the excursion fleet. I believe all the cars were streamlined, although I believe there was an open-end observation at one time.

If MTH ever gets out their Powhattan’s, those are your best bet. But feel the post above me is right, if your running 1218, your likely running private varnish. The train should therefore be N&W/NS heavy, but also some Southern, and you can sprinkle in other cars that you think look cool, like the MR&T coach that Rapido did, for example, or some Hiawathas, to name a few
