Are the corrugated sides on the Con-Cor correct for any prototype? The new Walthers cars and just about everything else I’ve seen including Amtrak cars have the rounded part concave inward, with a sharp edge protruding out. The Con-Cor cars are backwards, with the convex side out and the sharp edge in. Is there a prototype that matches this, or are the Con-Cor sides wrong?

The fluting on the ConCor passenger cars are incorrect. The fluting on the Walthers passenger cars are correct for both the Budd and the Pullman Standard cars.

As Psngrtrn points out they’re actually reversed on the Con-Cors. I currently own one HO Con-Cor passenger car which is a Budd Slumbercoach that I’m refinishing to Seaboard Coast Line. I’ll be using the Alclad Chrome painting system to make it look more "stainless steel. The rest of my passenger car fleet is Rivorossi.
BTW: The new Walthers cars are actually Rivorossis with upgraded tooling. They did an excellent job!
