going to use DC traction or converting to AC ? Regenerative braking ?
I believe they are going to AC. I’m going to have to dig some. I think it might be one powered truck per car with AC, too.
According to Wikipedia, they get a solid state propulsion control system, but keep the DC motors, trucks and gearboxes.
